How to apply for KSET, Eligibility criteria
The University of Mysore conducts the Karnataka State Eligibility Test every year for the post of Lecturer or Assistant Professor. State-level exams are administered in an offline mode and the University can issue a lifetime certificate for an eligible candidate who passes. Paper I contains General Knowledge Questions, while Paper II includes Aptitude Questions, with a total number of marks of 300.
Eligibility Criteria:
The KSET exam should only be taken within the subject area of the candidates' postgraduate course.
The minimum mark required for the KSET exam is 55% and 50% for SC, ST, PWD.
It is not possible for candidates who became eligible in the previous KSETs to apply again in the same subject.
How to apply for KSET:
Go to the official KSET website and click on "Apply Online" on the homepage.
Applicants should enter their basic personal, academic, and employment information such as email address, mobile number, name, date of birth, gender, security code, graduation year, and CGPA/percentage obtained.
After adding their Scanned Photograph, they must deposit their registration fee online.
The applicant has two working days from the date of payment to log in with their email ID and password in order to download the application form.
